What's for Dinner, Sat., March 23, 2024

Turkey burger on a crusty roll with thyme-garlic mayo, lettuce, onion, and tomato.

Honey-balsamic roasted Brussels sprouts. Turkey bacon chopped into bits and sprinkled over the top.

Sweet potato fries.

Cherry kombucha.

with tomatoes and parsley in it. Garlic bread and a Portuguese white wine. Our son made dessert, a mascarpone cheesecake kind of thing with raspberries (he found it on Saveur, but it was with hazelnuts, so he modified it).

We had our basketball earlier, which was also sweet, watching the Iowa women win their first game of the NCAA tournament. Go Hawks!

You got to watch Caitlin Clark?

That blog you got the recipe from has become one of my faves. I don't know if it's because I love the Mediterranean dishes or whether that blogger is just exceptional, but I always find good recipes there. In fact while I was checking out your recipe, I saw 2 others I want to try.

Dessert your son made sounds divine!!

Wow, what a day you had with the BB, great food, and Portuguese wine.
