What's for Dinner, Fri., March 8, 2024

The chicken-broccoli-cheese soup I made on Wednesday will get changed up a bit. I'm adding hot chorizos crumbles to it. It already has carrots and onions in it.

Artisan roll toasted in the air fryer. Olive oil butter.

Facing a weekend of rain, or so I hear, so lots to get done outdoors and little time to cook. Looking forward to good munchies tonight, though, to go with the political interpretations from the SOTU and trump getting the bond. Plus it's crime show night. So for dessert, I'm having tres leches cake and decaf.

Just picked the first three spears. Probably make some cheddar/ jalapeno/dried tomato/dried kale corn bread, and quinoa stew to go with.

So I made a nice ribeye steak sandwich on French bread.

Orange or two around bedtime.

The butternut squash soup I made a couple days ago never made it to the freezer. Having the last bowl now with my sandwich.

For dessert: Nilla Wafers and coffee
