Sheet pan pork chops, potatoes, and spinach with a lemon-olive oil-basil base.
Dessert of choice--mine will be strawberry ice cream.

4. I made baklava

I'm going to a local candidate meet and greet tomorrow. One of my friends hinted that I should make baklava for the snack table. I have leftovers, but I ate some of the baklava crumbles, so I'm not hungry now. Dessert before dinner

or however it's spelled. Pacific salmon cooked in a parchment bag with thin slices of fennel, onion, carrots, orange slices, and a splash of white vermouth. Sides are brown rice and local asparagus.
