Breakfast: Sunday, February 25,2024

I haven't decided yet. Al wants pancakes. Maybe I will wait for him to get up and eat pancakes with him.

Coffee for now.

Here's a bit of good news: I got a bluetooth keyboard that works with me phone.

Since my computer bit the dust, I've had to use my phone for everything. I have hated that it takes 2 minutes for me to key in something that would normally take me 30 seconds to type in.

Only $20

But I have never mastered the skill of typing so I’m very happy they have voice to text, even though I constantly have to make connections.

sausage, bacon, provolone cheese omelette.

Got my bib overalls on and getting ready to head out the door to clear brush and run my wood chipper. I need a nice pile of wood chips to sprinkle around my tomato plants this summer.

Good Morning 🌄

Two cans of 2Cal through my feeding tube. For lunch, left over calzone by mouth because you can’t put a calzone in a feeding tube without blending.

A friend dropped a bag of food by last night and there was a big sack of frozen pork taco meat, already seasoned. I was a bit dubious but it’s delicious! Looks like maybe it’s from an industrial-sized taco-making kit? Idk, but I’ll have tacos all week. Woohoo!

Made some fresh corn tortillas with some garlic powder, cayenne, and a little oregano in them and scrambled an egg in the pan I heated the meat in. Some apple slices and a cup of coffee and I am stuffed.

Except cold, but now the temp is rising and it's 37 so I will no doubt be outside in a bit.

Chicken breakfast sausages seasoned with thyme and sage. One egg with melted provolone and blistered shishitos (love these peppers--have already planted them but they haven't come up yet, grr.) All on a toasted skinny bread wheat sammich.

Lemon lime soda. Decaf coffee with half 'n half.

haven't seen what my NJ family is doing today, some of them prolly playing basketball!

I've got blueberry muffin and decaf coffee (which is really helping deter heartburn, thank goodness. Flavor not quite as good as caffeinated, but )

He likes donuts which I consider bad for you. I have his coffee all ready for when he returns. Sunday mornings are the best!
