What's for Dinner, Wed., Feb. 21, 2024

Spicy sweet glazed shrimp (Martha Stewart recipe). It's grilled, but my stovetop has a grill.

Soba noodles in dashi with vegetables (baby bok choy, scallions, broccollini, garlic).

Kombucha: Ginger.

Dessert: sliced pineapple, glazed with coconut "sugar." Decaf coffee.

Fried eggs and tortillas with red chili gravy and cheese, a side of bacon, and Mexican rice. I cooked a gallon of red chili yesterday!

Made a beef bone broth with ginger onions and lime. Added a dash of miso. Thin sliced American wagu beef, cabbage and onion.
I put the veg in before dipping the beef.

So made a chunky peanut butter miso and honey dipping sauce. Added some of this to another round of cabbage kale carrots and ginger slaw with sweet chili sauce.

I don’t have a hot pot or fondue dish so I literally ate the meat and veg over the stove

Now having the slaw since it has had time to break down. The slaw is a really happy addition! Cup of the bone broth on the side.
