What's for Dinner, Mon., July 30

Hey, where's Lucinda? Hope she's not under the weather.

Well, anyway, what's for dinner at your house?

I'm making beef teriyaki with rice.

Here's a pic of my flatbread pizzas from last night:

They were good. The eggplant had been seasoned and cooked in advance to shorten the prep time for last night. I made the tomato sauce from fresh tomatoes.

The flatbread is not as tasty a crust as a regular pizza crust, but it's considerably less work/$$ if you buy them.

I'm having some tummy troubles....too much dairy and wheat over the last few weeks has caught up with me.

I'm stewing up some onions, cabbage, garlic and tomatoes. I'll have it over some brown rice. For dessert there are cherries.

I'm just making some pasta sauce, adding stuff I find in the fridge (olives, carrots, onions, etc.) and serving it over whole wheat penne.

we've been using some naan from Costco to grill pizzas and I really like how crunchy they come out. Your pizza looks delicious!
