Cooking & Baking
Related: About this forumFood Network Star. Did you watch? No spoilers...
I have griped about this show in years past but I enjoyed it this time. I felt like they stuck to the cooking and skills and did not use drama to try and get the viewer's attention. I was fairly happy with the final four and would have been okay with any one of them winning. I liked that they used the last show to show funny footage and contestant updates.
Did you watch? What did you think?
Right before this show, they aired a version of Chopped which featured previous FNS winners. I don't watch any of their shows!

(106,886 posts)I really like the tips I pick up along the way - basic kitchen skills, cook on the fly stuff and the running commentaries about dishes.
Lots of interesting takes on dishes and, for me, a kick to cook.

But . . . I am happy about their "new food network" star! Should prove to be an interesting show!

(50,130 posts)The "reveal" show last night. Ugh! So boring! I left the room after a bit, and came back at the last moment.

(50,130 posts)Too much chit chat, IMO. I would rather have seen a last cookoff test. I do always enjoy Alton Brown, though. Giada -- not so much.
