2. Cold cucumber soup

With bacon, spinach and cheese ravioli with fresh tomato basil sauce. Italian sausage.

4. I was going to make Italian Wedding soup...

but I had forgotten to start it as early as I wanted to. So I still put the chicken, tomatoes and celery seed (forgot to buy celery) in the slow cooker. Got to be about 3p and I realized that there was no way it would be done in time. So I let the chicken and broth finish cooking. Cooling now and will go in the fridge.

In the meantime, I just slid a quiche into the oven instead: sauteed sweet onion, baby bellas and (frozen) asparagus, extra sharp cheddar and feta cheeses. Going to serve with baked sweet potato.

7. Sounds good. I had sirloin steak marinated in lemon, olive oil and fresh garlic.

I had a baked golden potato and a big salad...Brownie for dessert with coffee. I seared the steak in a black cast iron pan and roasted it in the oven until the thermometer read
130 F. It was Angus beef and very tender.
