Home from the hospital and feeling great...

I went in Monday (April 1) for my gastric bypass, got home yesterday. It went really well, almost no pain. I am home feeling great for just having surgery. I have to keep reminding myself to slow down. Doc said I could resume life as usual as long as I remember I just had surgery and no heavy lifting. Oh and drink, drink, drink!

I want to thank everyone for their well wishes, it really means a lot.

The only bad outcome, so far is I have red, itchy welts ,from the tape they used, on my stomach and sides

And a so-far easy recovery. Now the real work begins.

I had the same problem with the adhesive tape. Fortunately, I didn't need it for long. Things healed up pretty quickly.
