Clinical name for extreme RW nuttery?

I have a relative that I think might have developed some kind of mental condition. She is an EXTREME RWNJ who sends dozens of people these extreme RW rants every other day. She is convinced that Obama is a communist agent out to destroy America. She seems to be getting worse. This one below is very mild compared to the ones she has sent me personally because I email her (along with a dozen others) pro-Obama/anti-Romney articles almost every day now with 100% proof that Romney and other GOP are lying. I really thinks shes losing it. Is there a clinical name for this condition? Would it just be some kind of simple paranoia? I'm starting to worry about her. I may send her a suggestion she go to see a therapist.
On this one I emailed her back that REPUBLICAN Condi Rice says this Bengazi Gate is a sham because things like this happen in the "fog of war" as she put it.

Read below for an outrageous article that infuriates me and will you as well. IF this act by the president doesn't scream incompetence or treason, I'm not sure what does. This is indicative of what could happen if/when we are attacked again within our own country. Will Obama tell fire and police to "stand down?" Yeah, we already know that Obama will argue that this is ALL fabricated by FOX News. And the mainstream media will allow him to get away with it. IF BO WERE A REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT -- HE'D BE TRIED, IMPEACHED AND RUN OUT OF TOWN TODAY BECAUSE OF THIS. BO is such a fabricator that he is trying to make people BELIEVE Al Quaeda is on the run. FAR FROM IT (AND HE KNOWS IT)! They are now proliferating throughout northern Africa, too. There is no way they are "on the run" or "weakening." With BO's assistance, they are growing by leaps and bounds all over the world every day of the week. Is he for us or against us??? No question whatsoever -- it's the latter. HE IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. IF he can make Americans believe AQ is on the run, our guard will be down when they come to America again. And they will ... very likely sooner than later ...
Now the scary thing is: IF Obama STILL wins the election (because the media will try desperately to cover this up), he'll make SURE Fox News is shut down once and for all. After all, they are THE ONLY TELEVISION NEWS BROADCASTING COMPANY to be telling the truth about him and THE ONLY ONES holding him accountable. That gets under his skin -- it's not acceptable. He much prefers to continue duping and brainwashing people. Fox News won't allow that so he'll just ... shut them down.

Mental illness is about cognitive, emotional, and behavioral dysfunction that interferes with life activities and/or causes personal distress.

A speaker isn't mentally ill because they rant right-wing politics and it distresses you as a listener.

During campaign seasons DU is chockful of folks who think there is nothing wrong with political chauvinism using terms for the mentally ill that are offensive and stigmatizing to many of us who have mental illness. This group is supposed to be a safe haven from that.

Her rants are becoming more and more hysterical. Much more than that one. I didnt mean any offense or to start a flame war. Just thought there might be some experts on this section how to diagnose this as I've never even had a psychology class.

if you are going to participate in this safe haven.

You wrote shes a "RWNJ" you wrote you think she may be mentally ill

Calling a person with mental illness a nutjob is an example of the use of offensive inappropriate language toward the mentally ill.

Why is this language inappropriate?

Because it's a disparaging term applied to the mentally ill, one of the specified classes of people for whom this place was created.

You may never have given this much thought, but disparaging terms are intended to disgrace people. Disgrace means to discredit, to shame or to dishonor a person. A person marked with such discredit and shame is said to be stigmatized.

Stigma is used to disqualify a person from full social acceptance. And it is too commonly used against people with mental illness.

The mentally ill are stigmatized in our society, by that I mean that they are disqualified from full social acceptance. Sometimes that means a job, sometimes that means a promotion, in general it means being excluded from equal and fair treatment.

Worse, the fear of the consequences of the stigma of mental illness actually get in the way of the help mentally ill need. People are afraid to be identified as mentally ill because of the consequences that ID can bring to their careers and private lives. So they hide it, deny it, and suffer from it.

So the mentally ill, and people who care about people who are mentally ill are concerned about the application of disparaging language because the use of such a dreadful weapon against the mentally ill shouldn't be thoughtless.

a person can talk passionately about their views on politics or any other subject; that alone does not suggest or determine that the person might have a mental illness. They are not necessarily connected.

But if you care about this person, you might want to do some of your own reading on the subject of mental illness and/or see what you can do to offer her some help, or point her to someone who can help her.

Laleling someone as RWNJ isn't helpful. It's judgemental and is a very effective way of shutting down communication.
