In for another colonoscopy this Wednesday

10 years with UC, so now I have to start getting a colonoscopy every year.

I think the photos I get will prove useful. While watching GOP debates, I can just look at the photos, try to imagine my head in there, and it all will make sense. I'm sure of it.

not the part where you have to get the colonoscopy (I have UC and have to get them every 3 years, because it's not severe and it's only been 8 years since I found out).

But the part about looking at the pictures during the debate... LOL

the 'maintenance'. My husband suffered terribly with UC for many years. A year ago he had his colon removed and had an ileostomy for 4 months. The surgery to reverse the ileostomy was successful and he's doing well. We actually enjoyed our first holiday season in years without him either being in the hospital in the middle of a terrible flare-up OR at home in the middle of a terrible flare up.
