Plug for MD Anderson in Houston for Texans Who Didn't Get the Medicaid Expansion

Everyone probably knows this, but if you missed out on Medicaid in Texas due to Rick Perry and you get cancer, you do not have to die. Get a doctor to say you probably have cancer, go down to Houston to MD Anderson and they will check you out and sign you up if you qualify. I have several patients who were treated and who have survived some really grim cancers.

Everyone knows about Shriners for kids and stuff like that, but I'm not sure that everyone knows about MD Anderson. I got an email from someone worried about what would happen if her husband with newly diagnosed cancer were to lose his ACA insurance.

Sorry to MD Anderson for giving them a plug that they may not want since I am sure they are not rolling in money either, but I would hate to think of someone in rural East Texas dying of a treatable breast cancer because she thought she had no place to turn.
