Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories is back on Netflix for Season 2

I watched the first episode and MD is as good as ever. This is one of my favorite series so I was thrilled to learn that it's back.

It is a great series, indeed. Such a great cast, and simple 'slice-of-life' mood.
As much as I loved the original Japanese, the Chinese and Korean versions just missed the mark for me.

Have you seen the 3 previous seasons (Shinya Shokudo) before netflix, or the movie?
They are available w subtitles. PM me if you have any questions, or suggestions for similar media.

I often find a lot of great watching on YouTube but no full versions of the other MD iterations. YT isn't always the best video but at least there's a lot.

MD is a nice change up from murder mysteries.
