Where to start? Okay, let me say I watched the 8-part series before I watched the 1.5 hour original.

The 1.5 hour movie was okay. It told the story, extrapolated a little and had just enough special effects and flashbacks to make it a pretty simple story interesting.

Then, someone had the idea, "Okay, that was cool. Now, let's make a series!"

Never mind that there is no story left to tell. We'll just fill in with lots of jiggly camera work, distorted flashbacks, overexposed scenes, quirky editing, add superfluous characters and bring Emma back. People will love it.

No. Just no.
