Has anybody seen Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant's "An Idiot Abroad"?
High-larious!

(146,218 posts)I thought it was brilliant - funny and sad and meaningful and silly.
It didn't get nearly the attention I think it deserved.
The first episode is a set up for the rest of the season and might seem a little slow, but stick with it.
It gets better and better.

(22,716 posts)Ricky Gervais is hit or miss with me. I thought his stand up special was awful. I chuckled a couple times. But extra was brilliant. Painful after the first season. But some great guest stars.

Agree about the guest stars. Some really funny stuff there.
The first season was great. But I could only make it through a couple episodes of the second season.

If you try the second episode, I think your experience may change.
It gets much better.
