Looking for feedback - we have these in our Netflix queue...know little about them.

Anyone see any of these and like (or not like) them? All get pretty good reviews, but we've been burned by many of the recent releases - our preference is more independent-like, edgy, not obvious - movies that make you think/work a bit. thanks!

Oranges and Sunshine
Into the Storm
Nothing Personal
My Afternoon with Margueritte
Rosetta
Ides of march
Breaking and Entering
50/50
A Better life
Desert Flower
Entre Nos
Cold Comfort Farm
The Woman on the 6th Floor
The Trip
Beginners
Another Earth
Five Minutes of heaven
Margaret
Amazing Grace
The Burning Plain

Another Earth was pretty good. It wasn't overly obvious and I enjoyed the overall message.

50/50 was good. A lot of people didn't like it because I think they were expecting something different given Seth Rogan is in it. It's dark. It's real. I don't know that it is indie film edgy but it's a good watch.

The Trip, it was ok...not edgy. I don't remember much about it except the Michael Caine impressions.

Cold Comfort Farm is a favorite of mine. Not edgy at all, it's more cute in a odd British family way.

It's cute and quirky, but the book is better, since a lot of humor depends on the author's dry and matter-of-fact way of expressing absurdities.
