For those of you on Netflix streaming,...

...Check out "Nicholas Nickleby". It's a very good adaptation of one of my favorite Charles Dickens books. The cast is wonderful with Charlie Hunnam, Christopher Plummer playing a detestable human being, the Very under-appreciated Romola Garai as Kate Nickleby and Nathan Lane as Mr. Crummels ( he was BORN to play that role!).

As they said in the 60s Alka Seltzer ads, "try it, you'll like it", unless, of course, you're the movie viewer who's pissed off that Jean Claude Van Damme never won an Oscar!

I forgot to mention a wonderful Rachel Portman score, Jim Broadbent & Juliet Stephenson as Hissssable baddies, and Kevin McKidd & Jamie Bell among other wonderful performances.

I think that Walken would have done a good job, too...just as long as he didn't talk of anyone hiding something up their arses!
