Another goodie from Canada...I am watching right now is the show, "Continuum."
Great plot premise set around the future and the "Corporate Congress," as well as radical protesters turned terrorists. Check it out and share your thoughts! Thought provoking and precient.

(1,945 posts)I watched all of season 1 over the past few days and agree, it's a good one. Future sci-fi tech mixed with present day events. And happily, they are making a season 2. That is supposed to air in June, so not too long to wait.
Thanks for suggesting it.

(48 posts)I thought the show was very well done. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. The plot was engaging and you really rooted for the protagonist Kiera (sp?). The political landscape of the future was very a interesting prediction about our current political system. Also, the series was a pretty tame as far as sexual content and violence. Shows like Battlestar Galactica and Rome that were otherwise very well done were a bit too much for the whole family, but Continuum didn't cross those lines for us.

(11,733 posts)Just watched tonight's Canadian episode (which is about four weeks, I believe, ahead of the U.S. right now). The past few episodes have left me wide-eyed and open-mouthed at many points, as in "Wow, they're saying this on teevee!?"
Tonight's episode (s02e11, "Second Guess" is practically ripped from the PRISM headlines.
