Scientists say they have made a significant leap towards creating a vaccine that would protect against every form of flu.

The influenza virus is a constantly shifting target so seasonal flu vaccines rapidly become useless and new ones are needed each year.

A team at Imperial College London say they have made a "blueprint" for a universal flu vaccine.

Their discovery is published in the journal Nature Medicine.

What does getting or not getting a vaccine have to do with the corruption of big pharma? They are not in bussiness to cure, they're in it for profit.
Mind you, even my clinical instructors who have practiced medicine for decades admitted to that. No news there.

One course of Tamiflu: according to this site, about $120.

According to my math, $120 is greater than $30. Perhaps your math is different.

We have a new vaccine every year! For every strain/*mutation of the influenza. Over and over ans over again, new vaccines!!

The study brought up by the OP is showing the possibility of having ONE single vaccine against ALL the strains out there !! Do the math!! Hmmm... Would BPha profit from that scenario?? The answer is NO, and guess what, we will never hear of this again.

Most people don't take Tamiflu, or even seek medical help when dealing with influenza. As a matter of fact, tamiflu has been found to be quiet ineffective in most cases.

I know this vaccine won't materialize based on what happened with all the other breakthroughs which magically disappeared.
