I quit smoking on July 18th, 2006

When I had an angina attack.

So my method of quitting was sheer terror.

2. ANY reason for quitting smoking is a good one

My parents smoked, but gave it up while in their early forties. I always hated the stink, and it turns out I am extremely sensitive to arsenic, so it was a no go for me anyway.

3. Congrats. I quit around that same period.

I was noticing that cigs are now running about nine bucks a pack where I live. The people that I see buying them look like the least likely ones to afford them.

I quit smoking when I got pregnant, so that was enough motivation for me! That was 35 years ago.

I can remember when a whole carton was $20.

5. I quit july 4th 2006. Legionaires Disease.

6. I quit May 2, 2005, my mom died in March of 2005, and I was going to retire

in a 2006. Hardest thing I ever did, but makes me proud of myself. Can not believe how expensive they are today.
