Related: About this forumI am so much better today. My nasty intestinal problem has now changed to normal functioning.
The question is: do I still call my gastroenterologist tomorrow for an appointment? He was on vacation when I was experiencing the worst of it. Now I am even feeling stronger, having felt weak as a kitten for the duration of the worst part.
Missing Christmas was difficult but necessary and my daughter understood when I told her of the dire circumstances. I will call her and tell her of my recovery and she'll be relieved.
Happy 2019 to all!

(7,947 posts)Some infections recede but don't actually go away. You might need a round of some anti-bio to get rid of it.
Glad you're feeling better!

Good luck.
