As someone who also suffers from depression I think it is good and helpful to encourage and support others who have the same illness, especially when they are as successful and outspoken as she is. I read her interview in Time mag. or Rolling Stone about 6 months ago and remembered it because it hit home. She is not ashamed of it and neither am I and no one else should be either. It is a real illness and should NOT be hidden. SHE feels this way or she wouldn't have said so in the article.
