i'm thinking someone will be able to help.

the CDC has maintained their position on the additive that it poses no significant threat -- i was just on the CDC site.

I confess to not following his anti-vax rantings very closely since his RollingStone article was so thoroughly demolished.

There's no thimerosal in the standard vaccines and hasn't been for 10+ years. No decrease in autism cases. Last I saw, some were trying to insist that since some flu vaccines still had it, that's why. But the flu vaccine isn't nearly as widely given to children as the mandatory vaccines - there should have been at least a noticeable decline in diagnoses, but nope.

product is safe.

The fact that you want to hide behind this canard tells me all I need to know.

Kennedy did exhaustive research and published a book detailing his efforts. He is asking for ANY reliable research to prove thimerosal is safe.

The fact that no one can provide any proves his point.
Not yours

Vaccines and Autism, including all one could want on thimerosal. Science-Based Medicine is an awesome Blog. They have lots and lots of medical research cited there on pretty much any topic concerning AltMed. (Hint: there is no alternative medicine, there's just medicine.)

Google is your friend.

Excuse me if I seem unenthusiastic, but I've had to handle these damned fools too many times in the past. The science is in, thimerosol is harmless. The science is in, autism is present at birth.

In any case, thimerosol has been out of childhood vaccines for over a decade and the incidence of autism has increased.
