Texas Pro-Life Republicans Just Hahahaha No Seriously For Real This Story Just Read It

It's popcorn time in Texas

Texas Pro-Life Republicans Just Hahahaha No Seriously For Real This Story Just Read It

image:
Texas State Rep. Jonathan Stickland

Who’s in the mood to watch Texas Republicans slap-fight with each other? Oh, everyone? OK then, let’s do that! The Texas legislature is considering yet another bill to shut down Planned Parenthood because that’s pretty much all the Texas legislature does, when it’s not trying to shut down The Gay and the Supreme Court.

So in anticipation of Planned Parenthood supporters descending on the Capitol to say, “Hey, please stop trying to take away our lady health care,” Texas Right to Life distributed some nifty signage to its most favoritest “pro-life” state representatives so they can make some kind of point (the dumb kind) to them baby-killin’ whores:

One of the signs appeared Wednesday morning on the wall outside Rep. Jonathan Stickland’s office. It identifies the Bedford Republican as a “FORMER FETUS,” using a format similar to the plaques near most members’ doors. […]

“In honor of their visit, I put this sign up on my office door,” Stickland said in a Facebook post with a photo of the sign attached. “Organizations that murder children are not welcome in my office.”

Aww, that’s sweet. Of course, what Texas is really trying to do is exclude Planned Parenthood from the Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening program, which is a little bit different from murdering children, but not in Texas, where cancer prevention and murder is the exact same thing because Texas is awesome, do not mess with it.
. . . . .

If you are a woman and live in America, republicans will decide what you can and cant do with your body.

If you vote republican, you are voting for killing women.

I will never stop saying this.

their head explodes.

"How DARE you say that, I know good republicans who dont hate women."

Well, maybe you do, but see here is the GOD DAMN problem, if your party clearly stands for ending abortion and birth control then your party stands for killing women, if you stay in that party then YOU stand for killing women.

CLEAR?

Are we FUCKING CLEAR?

far more than any across the oceans. the death threats I have received, the hate calls and mail, the ugly, threatening, confrontations--have not come from fanatics somewhere else, but right here in this "land of the free", and home of the local war on women.

7. I am so sorry. The reichwing has worked many years to remake America into their own.

I understand it completely. I look back over the years and see how much we have lost to them.
I don't know how to stop them anymore. THey are only one election away from having it all.
States like Texas will be worse than ever, and I don't want to be forced to live like the few extreme Fundy KKKristian women I know.
Or like the women of the Talibhan.
Chills me to the core.

didn't realize it was going to be an incremental drip, drip, drip of legislation, hate and bitterness.

they keep hoping we will just give up, wear out, wear down, tired to the soul. well, we may be tired, but not giving up, EVER.

They have done permanent harm.
Its certainly frightening to think what the lives of our daughters & granddaughters will be like.
I do fear for them.
One election is all they need.
They are that close.
