The resolution on these old B&W photos makes it seem possible to touch her face or sit down and have a conversation with her. Time stands still.

like she's comfortable being herself, letting her hair down, doing her own nails, smiling.

I never thought of her as particularly beautiful, but I think these photos may make me re-consider.

I love Bette Davis, a damn good actress and an all around badass. Just the type of woman that I admire: tough, intelligent and who don't take crap from anyone.

BTW, the more the world changes, the more it remains the same. Similar sandals to the ones she's wearing in the pic with the pooch can be found in most stores right now. Come to think of it, so can her dress and pantsuit. LOL!!!
