1. I've never been divorced. Been married 34 years. I've never mocked anyone who's ever loved. . .

and I'd certainly never mock those who've lost. Love is too precious, too rare to treat with anything but utmost respect, and those fortunate enough to find it need encouragement at every turn. And those who've loved and lost? Their private pain is a hell no other should intrude upon.

I'm neither surprised nor dismayed by this attack of Limbaugh's. But then, I've always considered myself a better person than he.

2. I wrote my friend Lisa the other day and told her she was not the only Liza in my life.

Just an aside to tell her I loved her and there was another Liza later on. Both of them married men who are soooo much better than me.

OK maybe not so much Dennis but JP and Liza played for my birthday recently and I love him.
