In a thread way back when where I got taken to task for saying, "Mr. Obama" because calling him that was a sleight, despite the fact that people were just calling him "O" or "Obama". Because calling him by his last name was OK, but saying Mr. was bad. That person was outraged at me. I smiled and nodded.
