I have had many friends (scads), patrons at the bar where I worked, and natives of CR, and not once has anyone trashed the place! Every other place in the world has at least a few critics here and there (of course, I haven't heard about every country), but I have yet to encounter someone who really disliked CR. Of course, I know I am inviting scathing reviews now, but hey, such is life.
