Senator Katherine Zappone, Republic of Ireland, speaks out for marriage equality
Story hereIn the Republic of Ireland, there will soon be a vote on marriage equality for LGBT people. Ireland has only one openly gay female senator. Her name is Sen. Katherine Zappone. In a video for the equality campaign, Zappone said Ireland is poised to become a "beacon of freedom" if it votes Yes on the issue.
