Striking Back at One Million Moms

New websites target One Million Moms' discriminatory attack on Disney World and "Gay Days"

A week after the antigay group One Million Moms urged its members to contact Disney World to express displeasure with the unofficial “Gay Days” event taking place there June 1, pro-gay movements are now targeting One Million Moms.

Fort Lauderdale-based Outloud Marketing has launched a website that allows people to send a thank-you note to Disney officials for not succumbing to discriminatory bullying of groups like One Million Moms.

“One Million Moms’ homophobic message is disheartening and sad,” says Wendy Jackson of Outloud Enterprises. “If children have questions about seeing a same-sex couple holding hands, hugging, or kissing, it seems that Disney World, the happiest place on earth, would offer a perfect opportunity for parents to teach children about tolerance and acceptance.”

in Disneys pockets and in the Orlando economy as a whole. People have tried boycotting before and it's just gotten bigger. I live in the area and I know this is a fact.

In a sane and fair world free of bigotry, there would be no reason for Gay Days, which are an opportunity for citizens to enjoy the venue safe from bigots and bigotry.

These fuckers have the rest of the year and can't let the targets of their hatred have just one or two?

Their behavior is evidence of the need to have safe days.

FFS.

It's been going on for more than ten years, I have fun memories, the vibe is just more positive.
