I just discovered someone has me on ignore!

I open a thread and at the bottom of the OP it says in bright red letters that this user has me on ignore. I almost don't know how to react. What did I do or say that made them ignore me? I always try to be nice on here. I don't even post that often. Am I wrong that it bothers me that someone wants to ignore me? I would really like to know why so I could try to make it right.

There is no indication you are on ignore. The only think you know is that I am not ignoring you, or else I couldn't reply. There could be hundreds of people ignoring either of us.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over that. If a person feels compelled to ignore, that is probably best for everybody.

How many members have you on ignore on your transparency page under profile. But in general, I agree, who cares? No big deal.

as I am ignoring. I guess that means I am lot more accepting of diverse views than some here.

There are small-minded people on every forum, I'm sure. And places like DU and freeperville do attract a lot of folks that are more interested in reinforcing their existing belief system rather than understanding, learning, and expanding their horizons.

Of course, they won't be offended by this comment -- because they are ignoring me.

I ticked someone off at some point. I have one member who has me on ignore. No idea who or why. Well, whoever you are, Sorry about that Not that they can read it, but Oh well.

I do think Orrex's sig line is kinda genius and really effective... If the intended effect is to sorta freak people out

Like the woman on the Randi Rhodes Show who clapped her hands over her ears, shut her eyes and yelled "Waa, waa, waa..".

Hell, I've had people put me on Ignore because I commented on (a certain someone's) tendency to put her elbows on the table when dining.

AS in this thread, someone posed how to check and I did.

I had 11 people ignoring me! What!?

I knew I pissed of one guy who kept insulting me but he only recognized when I insulted him in return.
Hi last post was - "Good day, sir!" So, I figured I lost him.

Someone said that 10 was a good number.

I've learned to thicken my skin while posting here.
I really have tried to be honest but aware of the opinions of others when I post a comment.
I feel that some people are very close-minded and get whacked out by every little thing.
Oh well, can't make everybody happy....

I felt the same way you did.I couldn't figure out who put me on their ignore list. I'm glad to know how to check now. Apparently, no one has me on their ignore list so far.
