#SignsYoSonIsGay - Something Amazing Is Happening on Twitter

[Fearless]

Today on Twitter, a homophobic hashtag was launched, #SignsYoSonIsGay, with the intention of amassing an army of denigrating and "comical" slurs. Because homophobia is funny. Ha Ha! And at first, it worked.

However, something amazing has occurred today. Thousands of individuals (myself included) have countered the hate that was appearing rapid-fire by simply playing along and flooding the hashtag with messages of positivity.
