(55,147 posts)I also didn't see Torch Song Trilogy (one of my all time favorites!), of what was listed, I loved Undertow, The Bird Cage, In & Out and Latter Day's & several more but those stood out for me.
I need to buy Torch Song Trilogy & have on hand.

(29,503 posts)in the sense that it makes me angry. I know, it's not supposed to be a "get mad" kind of film, but the protagonist ("Miguel" reminds me of SO many former boyfriends.
POSSIBLE SPOILER:
As to why that would make me angry, without giving the story away, I guess the artist sums it up well for me when, about 40 minutes in to the film post-youknowwhat, walking the streets with Miguel, he is suddenly taken aback by Miguel's warmth, and raising his voice in obvious frustration, "You tell me this NOW?!" If I had a dollar for every time I wanted to say that...
