Related: About this forumJust got a call, going to go visit another friend in the hospital.
He has been HIV positive since 1988. His time is near.
I am so over losing friends to this fucking disease! His partner left us 3 years ago.
We've come a long, but we still have a long way to go.

(55,147 posts)He passed last night. He was surrounded by loved one's and we said our farewells. His pain is gone and thats all that matters now.
I went to visit him yesterday morning and all seemed fine, so when I got the call in the evening, it really threw me (it was just a normal day for me as I was posting here).
Remember a friend
Remember a friend. Remember a memry.
Tho youre gone, youre here by my side.
Close my eyes and I see you again, oh my friend, how I still remember you.
Much more than a memry. Oh my friend, I still love you so.
My friend, Im remembering you.
Some days are empty.
Some days are blue.
Please know I miss you.
Im remembering you.
Remember a friend. Remember a memry.
Tho youre gone, youre here by my side.
Close my eyes and I see you again, oh my friend, how I still remember you.
Much more than a memry. Oh my friend, I still love you so.
My friend, Im remembering you.
