Which purge will happen first? Racists from the Pubs, or homophobes from the Dems?

I'm using a broad categorization for homophobes, btw. One that includes *any* opposition to absolute, full equality under the law (, e.g. marriage, adoption, inheritance, employment, denial that discrimination on the basis of sexural orientation is just as evil as discrimination on the basis of race, etc.) Until Barack Obama changed his mind AGAIN on same sex marriage I was undecided, but now I think we might just get the homophobes out of the Democratic party before the Republicans can get the racists out of theirs.

Although... Grand Dragon Dolan's benediction at the end of the DEM convention has me concerned.

The homophobes have already pushed LGBT*.* under the Democratic bus, now we just have to wait for the party to drive over us, which Dolan's speech (don't pretend it's a prayer) will do.

The question now is how long it's going to be before the GayTM gets driven over.
