is an interesting gig.

A transwoman may have a feminine speaking voice, but singing rock in feminine voice is almost impossible because of the vocal acrobatics necessary when you sing.

Some members of the audience can get quite disconcerted, even angry, when the hot diva onstage sounds like Tom Petty.

Many trans women vocalists/frontwomen employ acting skills and assume a somewhat traditional male persona when performing

And you can't play just any venue; no amount of chicken wire can protect you when you're a trans woman and you bomb at the Rhinestone Saloon in Hangman's Gulch, Wyoming.

She's very lucky that she performs primarily in a punk genre. Being trans might even give her more appeal to an anti-establishment following.

He was a hot, sexy man and I was lusting after him.

Now he's going to be a hot, sexy woman and I can't lust any longer. Damn gay genes.

Good luck to her! I wish her the very best for the future.

Is they posted this article on KROQ.com (FM radio in LA) and the comment section generated some violent and really evil shit - and the more violent posters all justified it by religion - it even caused Kevin & Bean (morning hosts) to tell their listeners to knock it off. What causes people to be that stupid and hateful about things they don't understand?
