(B) He does absolutely nothing here but make naked assertions that contradict recognized structural engineering experts and apparently expects that ought to be good enough. No, it isn't. He needs to explain why those engineers are wrong, but instead he apparently didn't even read the NIST report, if he thinks that "melted" steel was the explanation for WTC 7.

The NIST video shows the middle columns still standing during the collapse. If that were the case, there would have been 50 stories of debris surrounding the columns. The NIST report is a joke.

You may be thinking of a NOVA program that had an animation of floors "pancaking." However, the debris pile showed that the primary failure mode was floors ripped from the columns, as should be expected, and there were indeed core columns still standing, briefly, after each collapse -- the so-called "spires." They didn't stand for long because the cores were not designed to be free-standing structures; they needed the floor structures for lateral stability.

You are really straining much too hard to find reasons to believe in the sick joke of controlled demolitions with magic silent explosives. Seriously, have you ever asked yourself why you have such a strong desire to believe such abject bullshit? I don't expect you to answer here, but you really ought to spend a minute or two pondering the question.

Farrer claims that office fires could only reach "maybe half of 1100ºC." Apparently, fire science wasn't on his curriculum, since Manchester Fire Engineering testing disagrees:

Faulty premise leads to... what, wildbill?

thermate, especially nanothermate, would just cut thin strips in the steel columns as it cut through them. How did entire columns get melted?

the amount of molten steel generated by cutting columns is insignificant. More importantly, because nanothermate is an explosive reaction (or so we have been told) that molten steel would be scattered first in the explosion and then in the collapse. So how is it possible for pools of molten steel to form?

maybe a little melts off several columns and runs down and then pools. All I could do is guess and that is why it needs to be investigated. The possibility of explosive and/or incendiary demolition needs to be investigated thoroughly. IMHOOC!

Hi, I have just rejoined DU after many years. I do not have enough post to start my own thread, could someone please put a notice about the upcoming vote for AIA Resolution 16-5 which will be presented for a vote by the group Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth. If the link below doesn't work, you can always google, "Resolution 15-5 or even Architects and Engineers for 9/11 truth".

Thank you!

And no one has shown any melted steel. No evidence for melted steel.

13, nearly 14 years, and no melted steel was found. AE911T, is taking in 500,000 dollars a year, and have failed to produce the melted steel evidence, except in the minds of their followers. Do they offer Kool-Aid, or another ride on a comet.

Human DNA has been found in the dust.

DNA burns up at a sufficient temperature. DNA would not survive a fire.

So am I gonna get locked and deleted for challenging the OP?
