So what if Castro had JFK shot?

I know the MIC is the favorite whipping boy at DU for the murder of JFK, but what is they weren’t the ones who were responsible?

Given the fact that JFK and RFK were partly responsible for the plots to assassinate Castro, what if he found out and decided to return the “favor” so to speak.

If THAT particular truth had come out at the time, then it most certainly would have meant WWIII as Johnson quoted as saying. The American people would have demanded all the Castros be hanged or shot or something. We would have invaded, the Soviets would have been forced to respond, and WWII would have been underway.

It that is the “truth” behind the murder of JFK, then yes it is better that the truth be suppressed until EVERYONE concerned is dead. That means every single one of the Castros. Because if that came out, and one of them was still alive the hawks would drive us into the invasion of Cuba they all wanted 50 years ago.

I knew some people love Castro, the Cuban Revolution and the Cuban Socialist Experiment. But just imagine.....

Something for which there's no evidence.

It would also require that Oswald was the luckiest son of a bitch on the planet, because he got the job in the TSBD, on what would be the motorcade route, over six weeks before that route was finalised. Which would mean that the Secret Service were complicit. And Kennedy's close friend Ken O'Donnell was complicit, because he made the final selection of the Dallas Trade Mart as the site of Kennedy's lunch event that day (the route to the Trade Mart from Love Field went past the TSBD).

All the evidence says that it was Oswald. It was his rifle, and the shots came from the sixth-floor window of the School Book Depository.

If not, then I could point you to a book I'm in the middle of reading that covers a good deal of Cuba.

JFK had ordered the anti-Castro training camps at Lake Pontchetrain shut down on August 1, 1963. He thought they were shut down after the Bay of Pigs and the resignation of Dulles but they weren't. So after Aug 1, you have this rogue CIA operation being shut down...or changing targets.

Allegedly LBJ told Warren that the Soviets were in it and that the report had to say otherwise in order to avoid public demand for WWIII. Dulles, who Kennedy forced to resign, was at the helm of the "investigation" into the murder of Kennedy.

How would Castro get Zapruder to say that the fatal shot came from behind him? And get the Connally's to say that Connally was not hit by the same bullet as JFK? Hypnotism? Free cigars for life?

As for me, I still think LHO was the lone gunman. I just threw that What If out there because I knew I would get some interesting points I had not considered. A co-worker and I were BSing, and this was something that came up in passing.

and killing JFK woud have been a stupid thing for him to do - despite the CIA's attempts to kill him.

And supposedy Castro has some hopes of opening up a dialogue with JFK in his second term.

BTW the Bush Family, as well as the Dulles (as in Allen) Family suffered some large business losses as a result of the Cuban Revolution. There's stories of Poppy Bush working with Cuban exiles for the CIA since 1959.
