it always takes a few years....the New York times almost gets it

Because of an editing error, an article on Monday about Egypt’s cancellation of deliveries of natural gas to Israel in a payment dispute referred imprecisely to Israel’s relationship to Gaza, which is one of the causes of popular Egyptian anger at Israel. While Gaza’s borders are controlled by Israel, and the territory is subject to an embargo Israel imposed in 2007, Gaza is no longer occupied by Israel,

this is just for fun....so the NY Times has now recognized that israel is not actually occupying gaza, it only took them 5 years to figure that one out. i guess now they have to break out their maps and if they look long and hard enough in few years maybe figure out that israel also does not control the gaza/egyptian border.

they don't strike me as being especially bright over there in the NYTimes, but for those who consider them "a leader" i guess this would be considered some kind of "news."

...Tom Friedman, Roger Cohen, Nick Kristoff, Ethan Bronner, and now Paul Krugman. All 'geniuses' who have yet to figure out that Gaza is no longer occupied.

I wonder if they all learned about their trade from the Idiot's guide to Journalism?
