Autopsy shows Hijazi shot more than 20 times

JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- The initial autopsy report of a Palestinian man slain by Israeli soldiers early Thursday shows that he was shot all over the body at least 20 times and that his death was caused by severe bleeding from his chest, neck, hands, legs, lungs, and heart.

The report is expected to add fuel to allegations by Palestinians that Israeli officers charged with arresting Mutaz Hijazi, 32, on suspicion of potential involvement in the shooting of a right-wing Jewish activist late Wednesday, instead executed him.

A lawyer for the Addameer Palestinian prisoners' rights group Muhammad Mahmoud said on Friday that he had received the autopsy reports from Sabi al-Alul, the director of the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute, where the autopsy was held.

Mahmoud said that four of the bullets had struck Hijazi in the chest area, including heart and lungs, six hit his neck area, one hit his shoulder, one hit the right thigh, two hit his right arm, one hit his pelvis, three hit his right leg and four hit his left leg.

....something like 10 times in the legs. You were provided photo evidence from Facebook disproving that lie, and then you denied the photos were credible.

It doesn't matter who finds the photos; only that they were there, they exist, and they prove the Maan/Nation story to be little more than racist incitement.

They draw the line at slanderous, racist incitement.

All decent people do.

Have you?

When were the photos taken, relative to the assault?

Dude was pretty fucked-up when he was admitted:

And I also know that feet heal relatively fast (like the mouth or hands; areas of the body that face frequent injury heal fastr than, say, the inner thigh or back of the neck). But kneecaps?

Knees take a good while to heal.

Speaking of thighs by the way, here's what half-healed bullet wounds to the thigh look like:

The young man in the pictures is Adam Abd al-Raouf Halabiya, the 17 year-old who was shot once in each foot. he's the fellow in red on the crutches in your montage. I haven't found any images of Jawhar Nasser Jawhar, besides the one where he's standing with Halabiya in the hospital hallway.

Only the Nation and Maan published this bigoted incitement.

There weren't 10 bullets to the foot, not even in your photos.

he took two. Plus of course, a few others to the legs, plus he got kneecapped, beaten and mauled by dogs. All of which we can see in the photographs.

And "a couple weeks" is plenty of time to heal bullet wounds in a hospital Shira.

The only bigoted incitement is from Elder of Ziyon, lying that it never happened, and then trying to also argue that the boys deserved it anyway.

camera were really alive and well when put into the ambulence and then shot and killed by Palestinian s using stolen IDF guns to make IDF 'look bad"? This was of course after autopsies showed the live rounds that killed were definitely from IDF guns?

And sticking with the lie even as evidence proves otherwise.

Fortunately, you don't fall for that sort of thing, generally speaking.

No other reputable news source reported this. FIFA never got involved.

Photos prove the claim is a lie.

Who took two bullets to his feet. it is Jawhar Nasser Jawhar who reportedly was shot ten times in his. As I said, I haven't found photos os Jawhar, beyond the one taken weeks later where he's standing in the hospital hallway. The photos I found of halabiya show quite a level of injury; beaten, shot in the legs, his knee is split, his hands were mangled, etc.

Your photo "disproof" is taken several weeks after the incident, after hospital treatment.

All while your source claims that nothing happened. At all. ever. And then claims that they deserved to have it happen to them. It's sort of like your Mohammed al-Durra claims Shira, where Mohammed al-Durra was not only never killed, but also that he died because his father had him murdered.

It's lies and propaganda alright - Lies and propaganda made in an effort to deny the reality of abuse against Palestinians, while at the same time defending and justifying the abuse.

by my count that's more like 6 weeks plenty of time to heal

Jawhar Nasser Jawhar, 19, and Adam Abd al-Raouf Halabiya, 17, were shot by Israeli soldiers as they were walking home from a training session in the Faisal al-Husseini Stadium in al-Ram in the central West Bank on Jan. 31.

Israeli forces opened fire in their direction without warning as they were walking near a checkpoint.

Police dogs were subsequently unleashed on them before Israeli soldiers dragged them across the ground and beat them.
