(4,159 posts)They are typical religious Right wing messianic madmen .....who think that God promised them all of Judea and Samaria ....the historical biblical names for the territory now generally referred to as the West Bank.
Is John Hagee a typical American ?
How would you describe a "typical American" ?
Are Rabbis for Human Rights " typical Israelis " ?
Join The Olive Harvest in The Occupied Territories
Every fall, Rabbis for Human Rights brings hundreds of volunteers to work side-by-side with Palestinian farmers during our Olive Harvest campaign. Our presence provides protection against possible settler intimidation, enables farmers to pick within the limited number of days that they can safely do so, and has also become an act of solidarity between Israeli Jews and Palestinians.

(10,650 posts)The majority of Israelis keep the Likud and rightists in power. They know full well exactly what that means. They are the typical Israelis. You, of course, cherry pick the few really good Israelis in an attempt to hide what is the norm.

(4,159 posts)....questions to you and instead attacked me with " bubble " and " cherry pick " .
I'm not hiding anything BillZBubb .....if you prefer to think every single one of us supports the 'Greater Israel' crowd and the religious right and/or Likud ...then you are welcome to think so .... however you are wrong .
FYI last elections ...on a voter turnout of 67.8%.....the Right-Religious block got 61 seats and the Center-Left -Arab block got 59 seats .
So by all means tar us all with the same brush .

(14,851 posts)right wing prejudiced broad brushed post.
According to this line of thinking, the typical Gazan is a terrorist, given that a majority voted for Hamas.
Of course the vast majority of Israelis detest extremist price tag attacks such as these, as shown by their vocal outrage against them.
But that probably won't sway your opinion as you're clearly one of those "all Palestinians are terrorists" types. Facts don't influence your opinions.

(45,850 posts)A large group of Israeli settlers on Saturday morning violently beat a young Palestinian woman while she was picking olives from trees in an orchard in the village of Yasuf in the Salfit district in the central West Bank, a Palestinian official said.
The assault is the third such attack on Palestinian olive pickers in three days, creating concern about unchecked settler violence as the olive harvest kicks off across the West Bank.
Ghassan Daghlas, a Palestinian Authority official who monitors settlement-related activities in the northern West Bank, told Ma'an that 25-year-old Alaa Fathi Atiyani and her children were picking olives in a field in the al-Masamic area outside of Yasuf village at the time of the alleged assault.
He said that ten settlers arrived from the nearby Kfar Tappuah settlement and assaulted Atiyani, beating her "brutally."
