four-year-old Israeli boy was killed by a mortar shell fired from the Gaza Strip on Friday afternoon. The boy, named late Friday as Daniel Tragerman, was at home with his parents and siblings at their kibbutz in the Sha’ar Hanegev Region, close to the border with Gaza, when the attack took place.

An Israeli army spokesperson said the fatal shell was fired from near an UNRWA shelter in Gaza. Earlier, Israeli officials had said it was fired from an UNRWA school — an asserted the IDF later corrected.

The murdered Israeli child is a not just a tragedy. It is a criminal event. Those responsible for the death of that child need to meet justice...just like those who are responsible for the deaths of all those Gazan children need to meet justice.

is that King David claims that the one Jewish death is more valuable than each Palestinian death. The one Jewish death should in fact be only 1/373 as bad as the Palestinian total and therefore incidental. There wouldn't even be time for 373 posts for the Palestinians.

13. I disagree. Murder is murder: 1 or 1,000. This is not a game.

What the king has done, IMHO, is ignore the Palestinian dead while naming the Israeli.

Now that's sad, and craven and horrific in its own right, but all murder is morally repugnant.

There have been hundreds of children killed during this latest round of fighting. They were all too young to understand why they were being slaughtered. Why on earth would you choose to name just one of them. Surely you do not think that this one child's life has more value than the others. That would be unthinkable.
