Thousands rally for Hamas in Jordan

*Way to go, Bibi.

The rally, the largest such protest in Amman in years, saw scores of masked youths dressed in the uniform of the military wing of Hamas, stage a mock military parade to the cheers of a flag-waving crowd.

By Suleiman Al-Khalidi Aug. 9, 2014 | 2:29 AM

REUTERS - More than 15,000 Muslim Brotherhood supporters gathered at a pro-Hamas rally in Jordan's capital on Friday, with many chanting "death to Israel" and urging the militant Palestinian group to step up rocket salvos against Israeli towns and cities.

The evening rally, the largest such protest in Amman in years, saw scores of masked youths dressed in the uniform of Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, stage a mock military parade to the cheers of a flag-waving crowd.

The Muslim Brotherhood, the ideological counterpart to Hamas and Jordan's largest political group, is seeking to take advantage of a rise in anti-Israeli sentiment arising from the Jewish state's month-long offensive in the Gaza Strip.

Gaza officials say at least 1,880 Palestinians, many of them civilians, have died in the offensive, which Israel says is aimed at ending Hamas rocket strikes on Israeli territory and rooting out the tunnels the Islamist militant group uses to funnel supplies and launch raids.

Israeli surgeons save the lives Palestinian children as Hamas continues its rocket assault on Israel

"Yesterday, 13 Palestinian children from Gaza and the West Bank arrived at Israel’s Wolfson Medical Center in Holon (near Tel Aviv) to undergo life-saving heart operations. After their surgeries, they will recover in the nearby Children’s Home. By now, when the sirens announcing in-coming rockets blow, the toddlers there instinctively raise their arms for the volunteers to scoop them to safety in the protected room. But mostly they are busy doing arts and crafts or watching movies (Alvin and the Chipmunks is a favourite).

The above reads like wartime propaganda to soften anti-Israel bias, but it’s a 18-year old routine: Palestinian children have been arriving at Wolfson’s clinic every Tuesday for 18 years for treatment by the politically and religiously non-partisan international charity, Save a Child’s Heart (SACH)

In the last few weeks, SACH’s medical team, which might involve an Israeli surgeon, a Palestinian anesthetist, a Tanzanian resident and a Canadian intern, have, as usual, serviced children from the whole Arab region, including Syria, Iraq and various African countries. Half are from Gaza and the West Bank. “Children are not part of the conflict,” says SACH’s chief cardiologist, Dr. Akiva Tamir, whose Tuesday clinic takes place rain or shine. Or rockets."

You're aware that the actions of an NGO do not cancel out hte actions of the IDF - especially when the story presented about said NGO is a direct result of the IDF's targeting of civilians, right?

Hama's, not allegedly, IT'S BEEN PROVEN, has declared Gazan schools, family dwellings, hospitals even, as part of its accepted war zone.

Israel, THE IDF IS MAKING SURE ANY CHILDREN THAT HAMA'S SHIELDS THEMSELVES WITH ARE TREATED IN ISRAELI HOSPITALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHO DO YOU THINK GET THEM ACROSS THE BORDER, THROUGH HAMAS CONTROLLED TERRITORY WHERE THERE ARE BOUNTIES ON THEIR HEADS, TO ISRAELI HOSPITALS???

It isn't hama's, they aren't anywhere to be seen when the ISRAELIS ARE CLEANING UP THE CAUSALITIES, THE CHILDREN THAT HAMA'S DECIDED WAS RIGHTEOUS TO SACRIFICE TO ALLAH to win some holy, age old war against Jews.

Also, it's Israel that declared a war zone;

Out of the 1,800 killed so far, ~85% are civilians. Some hundreds of those are children. There's 9,000 injured, following similar statistics. You just gave me a story about thirteen of those children being treated. And that's good.

But that still leaves hundreds dead, and likely over a thousand more injured and in need of treatment.

Why?

Because Israel targeted them with heavy artillery. At the very shelters israel had told them to flee to, when it demanded they run from that strip of pink in the image above. Which is the same reason those thirteen lucky kids in the story needed treatment as well. it doesn't help that israel has also made a habit of targeting hospitals in its attacks, rendering Gaza's own infrastructure even more unable to cope with the casualties.

Really, if anyone's obfuscating, it's you, who are pretending that treating thirteen children in Israel, makes up for killing hundreds in Gaza and mangling hundreds more, all while purposefully preventing them from receiving care in Gaza through constant bombardment.
