Israeli Forces Arrest Eight in West Bank, including Four Minors

The Israeli forces Tuesday arrested eight Palestinians in multiple towns in the West Bank, most in Bethlehem district as well as others in Hebron, Ramallah and Qalqilya, according to local and security sources.

The forces broke through the city of Bethlehem and arrested two youths in their twenties in addition to a 17-year-old from Al-Azza refugee camp. They also stormed the village of Beit Fajjar, to the south of Bethlehem, and arrested two minors ages 14 and 15.

Forces also broke into the nearby village of Rashaydeh and raided villagers’ houses amid heavy security measures in the area. Forces broke the houses front doors and sabotaged with their contents, spreading panic and fear among residents, said Fawwaz Rashaydeh, head of the Rashaydeh village council. No arrests were reported.

Meanwhile in Ramallah district, the Israeli forces broke through the village of Bil’in in the early down hours and arrested a 20-year-old youth, according to Abdullah Abu Rahmeh, coordinator of the anti-settlement and wall committee in the village. He told WAFA that the forces sprayed pepper gas at one of his relatives while arresting him.
