Jon Stewart knocks it totally out of the ballpark in this recent episode of the Daily Show. He skewers AIPAC, congress and Israel over AIPACs proposed Iran sanctions legislation, and then some. He kills!
Bonus a Lindsey Graham imitation to die for and then a photo of all the senators threatening to vote for more Iran sanctions appears on screen. Stewart questions why would Democrats vote for them? Cut away to lobby stalwart Jane Harman providing the answers:

(50,254 posts)Stewart still did what he did.
And, now that the Netanyahu government is no longer supporting Israeli LGBT's(it made sure the most recent pro-freedom legislation was defeated in the Knesset and is going to keep being anti-gay from now on)are you going to keep backing the Right?

(14,851 posts)That's absurd , I support Israel like the majority of the USA Democratic Party do.
Maybe you think the anti Zionist extremist views you read here on DU are reflective of any elected representative of the party they are not .
I don't consider antiZiinists or antiSemites or antiIsrael haters to be "left" in fact most times they are extreme right wing or just extremist.
And that my friend has nothing to do with Israel being the one and only country in the Middle East where it's safe easy and able and legal to just survive and breath as a gay, compared to a death sentence in the neighborhood countries. The most extreme right wing government in Israel is still preferable to any other gay hating government in the shetach.
