Netanyahu To Kerry: 1,000 Homes During Talks

Israel will allow building tenders for 1,000 new homes in Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria (Shomron) during the first months of talks with the Palestinian Authority, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has reportedly told United States Secretary of State John Kerry.

According to Haaretz, Netanyahu revealed his plans to allow the tenders to Kerry in a recent meeting.

The paper quoted three senior Israeli officials who are involved in negotiations. The three asked to remain anonymous.

They said Netanyahu may publish the new tenders as early as Sunday, in parallel to a government vote on the release of 82 PA Arab terrorists imprisoned in Israel.

Previous reports have suggested that Netanyahu will allow some building tenders in the region in order to soften criticism over his agreement to release terrorist murderers.

I would think it would be a most unwelcome source on a site like this.

Almost sounds like a personal attack. That used to be against the rules too.

piss off

to leave or go away, used especially as a rude way of telling someone to go away:

Everyone just pissed off and left me to clean up.

Why don't you just piss off - you've caused enough problems already!

(Definition of piss off from the Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary & Thesaurus © Cambridge University Press)

Hardly a 'personal attack'...

In the meantime, figure out of you're going to attack Arutz Sheva, or defend it. It can't rely on who's posting an article from it, you know

All I know is I once was told I need to be consistent in my criticism of sources. This is a virulently anti-Palestinian source. It is the voice of the RW settler movement.

Israel to Approve 900 Settlement Homes in West Bank

The Civil Administration’s Supreme Planning Council is to meet Wednesday morning to approve the construction of over 900 new homes in the West Bank.

The largest plan is for 732 units in Modi’in Ilit, a plan that was okayed by former Defense Minister Ehud Barak in January. This plan is at an advanced stage of authorization, so if the defense minister permits, construction could start shortly.

The adjacent Palestinian village of Dir Qadis objected to the plan, claiming that some of the construction was slated to take place on its lands. But last month, the planning council rejected the village’s objections, saying there was no private land involved.
