Israeli Settlers Shoot and Injure Palestinians in Qusra

Palestinian official news agency WAFA reported that Israeli settlers Saturday opened fire at residents of the Nablus area village of Qusra injuring two people who were taken to Nablus hospital for treatment, according to Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settler activities in the north of the West Bank.

He said settlers attacked the village, south of Nablus, cutting down trees and throwing rocks at homes while opening fire at the residents.

He said one of the injured was hit in the abdomen and the second in the leg.

A resident told WAFA that shooting was heavy and that it was coming from all directions. He said dozens of settlers were on the outskirts of the village waiting to attack.

For settlers to exist in the first place the land has to be cleansed of barbarian hordes, segregated roadways established and defended from the barbarian terrorists, segregated water supplies ensured against barbarian thieves, and defensive perimeters established and widened as necessary to protect the innocent and heroic citizens who've been given financial incentives to live on the front lines. Likewise necessities like adequate sewage outlets into the surrounding barrens have to be protected from barbarians who know nothing of niceties like sanitation, so the illegal and unsanctioned grazing lands and farmlands in the surrounding areas have to be purged of olive trees and other primitive sources of nurture for the barbarian usurpers. In short, the rock throwing barbarian terrorists have to be pushed back and to do that they have to be shown in unequivocal terms who's boss, because the only language such primitives understand is the language of force.

Surely it need not be said that Israel is on the side of the one true God, since Israel has Israeli law on its side. I mean, Q.E.D. And the very existence of the barbarian hordes, which presents an existential threat to Israel, is an affront to that law and an affront to God. But even up against such an intractable problem as the innate evil of the barbarians threatening Israel on its frontier, Israel proves its goodwill in allowing those barbarians who might, perchance, obey, the opportunity to work building the settlements, and the fences protecting the settlements, and to return unharmed to some places designated for them to live in the hinterlands. Surely such barbarians must rejoice to receive the benefits of advanced civilization, as compared to continuing in fruitless attempts to farm burnt out olive orchards and graze sheep on sewage filled lands. Anyone who doesn't agree is flat out illogical - not that logic is expected of the barbarian mind.

I bet there's lots of sympathetic listening to the settlers version of events, followed by a bit of lost paperwork...

The IDF won't do anything until the government of the day tells them, and that hasn't been happening for a while...
