http://972mag.com/image-lapid-and-bennett-in-an-illegal-west-bank-outpost/64882/The two winners of last weeks Israeli elections, Yair Lapid and Naftali Bennett, are seen in this picture on a tour of the West Bank, which Bennett, as head of the Yesha Council (the settlers political organization), took then journalist Lapid. The picture, which was posted on Twitter by Channel 10?s West Bank reporter, Roy Sharon, was taken in 2010 at the illegal outpost of Kida. Also seen in the picture is local Kida resident Yair Hirsh.
Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. Sometimes none of them are good.

Yes, shaking the truth free. Does that make you uncomfortable?
So...
Is the photo a fake? Was the picture taken on a legal settlement? Is there any difference between the two of them on the theft of Palestinian land or a continued presence there?

(30,109 posts)Lapid was a journalist back then.
Maybe he was doing investigative research on illegal settlements in his role as a journalist. That's as reasonable a guess as believing he was hanging out with his BFF extreme settlers.
How about some journalistic integrity here by +972? Did they ask Lapid about this photo before going public with this stupidity?
Seems some journalists today believe it's better to accuse first, then confirm later.
Hacks.

Lapid and Bennett: The dynamic duo

a couple clips:
"More important, they represent the best values of Israeli society and the clearly-enunciated will of the people.
Alone among Israeli leaders who ran in this election, Lapid and Bennett ran positive campaigns that stressed values and principles, not just policies and demands. They spoke of Zionist commitment, patriotism, honesty in business and politics, a fair shouldering of the military and national economic burdens, and family values. They spoke about civic devotion, and evinced great respect for the social protests of last year. They showed that they understood the pinch felt by the average Israeli."
"BOTH LAPID and Bennett spoke about rebuilding Israeli society, which is doable and urgent, not about pie-in-the-sky peace with the Palestinians, which is unlikely and had best wait until the Arab springs and Islamic winters pass us by and settle down."
