Breaking the Silence tour bus pelted with stones in Hebron

A bus carrying Israeli students on a tour of the West Bank city of Hebron, organized by the left-wing Breaking the Silence NGO, was pelted with stones by Palestinians on Friday afternoon.

Hebrew media reports said three female students were lightly injured in the attack, and were given treatment at the nearby settlement of Kiryat Arba. But the Magen David Adom emergency services said just one woman in her early 20s was treated for a scratch, after the stones shattered the windows of the bus.

The controversial combat veterans’ NGO, which documents alleged abuses by Israel Defense Forces troops against Palestinians, told the Ynet news website in response to the attack that “this is the reality in the territories, and we are working to change it.”

The Hebron area has seen near-daily car-ramming, stabbing and rock-throwing attacks since October.

the Occupation imposes.

Anyone else, anywhere in the world, who was treated as Palestinians are treated, would also resist. And none of us, in that situation, can say with absolute certainty that we would be any different in how we went about it.

Those with no power also have few choices. And those with power over them have little entitlement to judge them.

What right does anyone outside, watching from a place of complete safety, comfort and privilege, have to judge?

The hardliners you have defended for years and years made this happen. Breaking the Silence gets that.

Nonetheless, you'll probably try to spin this as bigotry, somehow. You always do.

Really? OK, how exactly did you conclude that? It sounds like you made it up.

Anyone else, anywhere in the world, who was treated as Palestinians are treated, would also resist.

I DO remember that time Martin Luther King led a stone-throwing mob of people against that bus full of female students.

What right does anyone outside, watching from a place of complete safety, comfort and privilege, have to judge?

What right do we have to judge the mob attacking young students with rocks? I dunno... all of them? All the rights.

The hardliners you have defended for years and years made this happen.

But how do you know that the Palestinians didn't make them make this happen? Didn't think of that, did you?

Buses make good targets Mosby .

Seriously ....you think the stone throwers were targeting BTS on purpose ?

We dont call it The Wild West Bank with no reason Mosby.......Left or Right you are a target .

“ this is the reality in the territories, and we are working to change it.”

The difference is that we do want to change it ....the Right have no intention of changing anything ....except annexing their precious Judea and Samaria first chance they get .
