A mourner prayed for the extermination of all Jews at the funeral last week for two Palestinians killed in clashes with Israeli security forces in the West Bank.

During the ceremony — broadcast live on official Palestinian Authority TV — the unidentified man calls on Allah to “do justice to the oppressed against the oppressors, and give them victory over the tyrants, O Master of the Universe. Strike the Jews, count them and kill them to the last one, and don’t leave even one.”

7. This is an all too common sentiment

In the Muslim world today, and to a lesser degree in the west. Anti-semitism that goes beyond discrimination at work to genocidal desire or at the least absolute subjugation is and has been a plague on this earth since the Romans conquered Judea. This underlies both Israel's need for security and, consciously or subconsciously, much of the criticism of Israel. When Israel's enemies (Iran, death to the Jews, death to Israel, anyone?) call for the extermination of the Jews, their western supporters don't care, like they did not care in previous centuries. This virus remains strong, and Israel must remain strong. Those who want to delegitimize and in all ways weaken Israel implicitly want to help out the fellow in the video.
